4 Common Mistakes
MOTORCYCLISTS MAKE AFTER AN ACCIDENT
BY LAW TIGERS
1. Leaving the scene without filing a report
LIFE HAS A FUNNY WAY OF BRINGING UP THE PAST. THE EASIEST WAY TO PROTECT YOURSELF IN THE FUTURE IS BY HAVING A LEGAL ACCIDENT RECORD. EVEN IF THERE APPEARS TO BE NO INJURIES AND LITTLE TO NO DAMAGE TO THE VEHICLES, CALL THE POLICE! MAKE IT OFFICIAL!
2. Assume that you’re not injured
ADRENALINE IS A SON OF A GUN, ISN’T IT? YOU MIGHT FEEL FINE NOW, BUT SOME INJURIES TAKE HOURS, DAYS AND EVEN WEEKS TO MAKE THEMSELVES KNOWN. GET CHECKED OUT! YOUR HEALTH IS FAR TOO IMPORTANT TO ASSUME ANYTHING!
3. Assume that you’re at fault
IT COULD VERY WELL BE YOUR FAULT BUT KEEP IN MIND YOU HAVE NO IDEA WHAT THE OTHER DRIVER WAS DOING. PERHAPS THEY WERE TEXTING OR HAD A COUPLE OF DRINKS. DO NOT ASSUME OR ADMIT ANYTHING, UNTIL THE FACTS ARE IN. REMEMBER #1? CALL THE POLICE. THEY WILL BE ABLE TO HELP IN SUSSING THE SITUATION.
