Indian Motorcycle officially confirmed its expansion into the factory trike market. While Indian previously relied on aftermarket builders, current and future lineups feature authorized, dealer-distributed three-wheelers, with an increased emphasis on factory-direct trike models coming to dealerships.
Indian Motorcycle CEO Mike Kennedy announced a strategic pivot aimed directly at capturing market share in the heavyweight bagger and touring categories. This means future factory trikes will feature the Thunderstroke 116 or PowerPlus engines, alongside top-tier features like RIDE COMMAND navigation, heated/cooled seats, and massive cargo storage.
And most importantly NO EV BIKES!
