Be of good courage,
And He shall strengthen your heart,
All you who hope in the Lord.
    Psalm 31:24
We are well into the riding season, and we have all been doing much for ourselves. Attending rides, events, small groups, Bible studies, fellowship and more. Stacy and I have been praying for others daily for some time and we have also been praying for our little one. So, I had the idea to start sharing our prayers in hope that you will be encouraged and pray for your children as well.
No matter what age they are, we want them to grow up and be respectable, honorable, moral, ethical, Bible, believing, men and women of God. I also think that all of us, and if not all of us most of us agree that prayer is powerful.
Personally, we have experienced the power of prayer over and over again in our lives, and we want to encourage you to do and experience the same.
Dear Lord, I pray that my children will turn to You for the courage they need to live righteously and well. I ask that You give them the wisdom to know right from wrong and the strength to do what they know to be right.
Sometimes, Father, we all phase the difficulties that overwhelm us, and we are tempted to give up hope. But You are always with us God, Always ready to guide us and protect us. So, we can take comfort in the knowledge that You are our Shepherd, today and forever.
This is Your day, Lord. You have made it, and You have given it to us as a precious gift. As a parent, I ask you for Your guidance. As for my children, I ask that You lead them on the proper path – Your path – and that You give them the courage to do the right thing, even when it’s hard, Amen.
Courage is not simply one of the virtues, but the form of every virtue at the testing point.
