Jerry describes himself in 3 words… adventurous, curious, and fearless. Now 73, he has been in the saddle of a bike since the age of 15. His first “real” motorcycle was a 1967 Honda 350 and has owned about 12 more since then, Jerry now enjoys the comfort of a 2018 HD Tri-Glide. His Trike is road-ready; equipped with Footboard Extensions, extended heel shifter, DK Custom 14″ Pro-Action shocks with the Convertible Comfort Lift™ Kit along with our Cooling Deflector Wings and a Tour-Pak Relocation kit. The handlebars are Wild Ones 579 bagger low bars along with heated grips and a heated Mustang saddle. For enjoyment on the road he added a SiriusXM radio module and a Garmin Road Tech Zumo GPS.

The man does have a calm demeanor but make no mistake, he is a true adventurer that has seen Most of the North American Continent from the seat of a motorcycle. Having well over 500,000 miles on 2 wheels make Jerry a very interesting person to conversate with. He will tell you his favorite roads are Icefields Parkway, Bear Tooth Pass, Going to the Sun Road, Trail Ridge Road, Mount Evans, Mount Washington Auto Road, Tail of the Dragon and Cherohala Skyway. His favorite being the Icefields Parkway from Jasper to Banff Canada. It is worth noting that Jerry’s wife and riding companion, Carolyn has been with him for much of his Journey on 2 wheels. Jerry Had this to say of his journeys with Carolyn,” Motorcycling has been a tonic that has strengthened an already iron clad bond with my wife and it’s brought many wonderful new friends into our lives we would never have known except for motorcycling”.
It is worth noting that Jerry was a Motorcycle Safety Foundation instructor for 10 years. This can attest to the importance of motorcycle fundamentals… Jerry did not achieve over 500,000 miles without the knowledge he carries with him. His advice for fellow riders is to not bite off more than you can chew. It will take some time before you are comfortable and confident but do challenge yourself to improve your skills.
