Honda Offers Android Auto For Gold Wing
More connectivity for Honda’s flagship tourer.
Current Honda GL 1800 Gold Wing customers are in a position to integrate Android Auto to the connectivity system of their motorcycle for Android 5.0 and higher smartphones.
This is another first for Honda’s flagship super-touring model series—back in 2017, the then all-new Gold Wing was the first to offer Apple Car Play integration that included advanced navigation features and application-specific services that until then had been accessible only on cars. Customer response was very positive and now Honda is going one step further offering all current Gold Wing owners owning an Android-capable smartphone an upgrade to easily enjoy music, media, and messaging apps. Thanks to the simplified voice interface provided by the connection with a Bluetooth headset to Google Assistant, riders can safely stay focused on the road while controlling these functions.
