This bike belongs to Pastor Paul of the world famous Salvation Saloon Biker Church. This antique vintage motorcycle was the bike of his youth, which brings back memories, when as a boy he dreamed of one day owning his own Harley-Davidson motorcycle. During that time, he also found a passion for God that has driven the direction of his life ever since. The great men of faith encouraged this passion: Billy Graham, Chuck Smith, and others.
As Paul sought to imitate their example, God has allowed him to also combine his other passion in life to accompany his ordination in ministry. Now, after several Harleys, his service to God unchanged as he continues to “ride for Christ’s sake.” It’s the mixture of his early memories that that was the vision behind the restoration of this motorcycle named “Old Time Religion.”
Remember the forefathers of our faith, who spoke the word of God without apology and let us consider imitating their faith and service. Jesus is the same yesterday, today, and forever. Hebrews 13:7-8 reads: Remember those who led you, who spoke the word of God to you; and considering the [a]result of their conduct, imitate their faith. Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever. Some things never go out of style!
